The Public Broadcasting Corporation of Jamaica (PBCJ) complex at South Odeon Avenue is now the home of multidimensional murals forming part of the Ministry of Culture’s Paint Up Yuh Creative Space Initiative.
Culture Minister Olivia Grange visited the historic complex on the weekend to view the murals and announced the commissioning of a cricket wall of fame and walk of fame at Sabina Park in Kingston.
The on-going mural project began in December 2019 and is a partnership between the Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation and the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport.
Gabrielle Thompson reports.
