The Government is clarifying Jamaica's Third Country Nationals (TCN) agreement with the United States. Information Minister Dr. Dana Morris Dixon says the programme is not a labour recruitment initiative and should not be confused with efforts to attract skilled workers to Jamaica. Meanwhile, National Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang says participants are not permanent migrants, noting that up to 25 individuals will transit through Jamaica every two weeks en route to their home countries or other destinations.
